Chelsea Kitchen is introducing two new items in their menu and I was lucky to have a sneek peek (and taste as well!) these items. They are introducing the Teddy Bear Iced Latte and Kitchen Scramble.
We met up with Michelle at Chelsea Kitchen SM Megamall for a quick chat and to try these two items. Since one is a drink and the other is a form of dessert, Michelle offered us some snacks to go with it. Here are the items we munched on that afternoon:
Fresh Cut Fries with Truffle and Gravy
These are truffled fries, smothered with cheese and topped with bits of mushroom chicharon. These fries came with a side of gravy and cheese as dips.
Mushroom Chicharon
A healthy (a little bit!) version of the crunchy chicharon. This is Raintree Restaurants’ comfort favorite which can be ordered in most of their restaurants. I got a first bite of these yummy goodness in Stella. They became my absolute favorite.
Chili Lime Nachos with Chicken and Chorizo
It is our favorite nachos, generously topped with all summer flavors: peppers, tomatoes, pickles, olives and bleu cheese. The fun doesn’t end there because it also has guacamole, sourcream and a slice of lime. Definitely Yum!
Teddy Bear Iced Latte
If you hate watered down iced lattes, well Chelsea Kitchen brings you the Teddy Bear Iced Lattes! Coffee is frozen into these cute teddy bear molder and served to you with milk on the side. You just drown those tiny coffee teddy bear with milk, add some sugar for a little sweetness and give it a good stir.
Fizz Coolers and Refreshers
I already drank 2 cups of coffee that morning and I opted out of the caffeinated drink. Some of us ordered their fizz coolers and refreshers instead.
Yardstick Pour-over Coffee
If you prefer drinking your coffee hot, Chelsea Kitchen has an excellent brewed coffee, pour-over style. Their beans are of excellent quality, thanks to one of the pioneers of third wave coffee, Yardstick.
Kitchen Scramble
One of the main highlight that afternoon is their giant Kitchen Scramble. It is not the usual scramble you buy with Manong. It is a hybrid of Halo-halo (because it is a mixture of all things fun) and Bingsu (though technically they are the same). The finely shaved ice is topped with Mango Panacotta, Cornflakes, bits of Cheesecake, Tapioca, Chocolate bits, Salted Caramel popcorn, Gummy Bears, Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Syrup, Strawberry Syrup, Maple Syrup, Wafer Sticks and cute mini Star Candies. I know, reading about it makes you giddy inside already.
Head over to Chelsea Kitchen Megamall and try these nice snack treats, Thank you Michelle of Raintree Restaurants for inviting me that afternoon. These yummy treats drowned all my sorrows and worries from a strenuous and stressful day at work that afternoon. #StressEating

The food in the Philippines now is so diverse, it's a melting pot of different types of cuisine all over the world. I bet there are also a lot of yummy choices in Thailand.
