Welcome, 2024! Have you noticed something different?
YES! I finally did it!
I moved my blog to WordPress and it can only mean one thing. This 2024, I am taking the time to work on my website.
I have always wanted to take my blog to the next level, to be more serious about it. For the past few years, I’ve been making excuses. Excuses like the stress of immigrating to a new country, adjusting to a new culture while managing your family, and feeling lost again in this chaos. I know that all of these may seem valid reasons why my blog has been on the back burner for years. But deep inside me, I know that I have to do something about it.
You see, my blog is my creative outlet. A way for me to express myself confidently. For all the people who know me, I am not the most talkative person, in comparison to how I talk (or write) here in this blog. My blog has been an outlet for me, and after years of writing here, I can say I have a deep inclination now to creative writing. This is why this year, I decided to hone my copywriting skills on my website.
It seems like I’m making a big deal out of it, but I really need to take copywriting seriously. I have always been hesitating and doubting my capabilities, when in reality I CAN REALLY REALLY DO IT!
So 2024 will be the year that I will take the necessary steps to take this path of being a digital creator.
I’m gonna build my portfolio through this site, and hopefully earn a bit on the side while I go on this journey to be the likes of Brian Clark and Seth Godin (Just kidding!). But no really, I feel it in my bones that I can become a great copywriter and marketer (though marketing is a bit of a stretch).
Here’s to the big dreams that we are trying to achieve this 2024.
