Nights appear to be more interesting as restaurants like Wingman make your dining experience more fun by holding Quiz Night every week. I was invited by Aldous to Wingman UP Town Center’s Blogger Quiz Night.

Wingman started their store in The Collective Malugay and had been having a blast for they now have 4 stores across the metro. Their newest one is in UP Town Center is a very space-y store that is filled with LED TVs all across the floor. It has the best ambiance for live- viewing events and bonding sessions specially for sports fanatics.

Before we started with the brain crunching questions, Wingman first delighted our tummies with their famous wings and sides.

Sides (Php150/basket)

We got to try their squadron meal which consist of 30 pieces of wings in different flavors. You get to pick 5 different flavors from the 15 flavors they have. It was hard because all the flavors were interesting. All were good and tasty but if I were to pick, my favorites were the Hickory BBQ, Mango BBQ and Garlic Parmesan.

The game began and every team was pretty competitive. The questions were a mix of sports, current events and other trivia so it was a bit hard but definitely fun and mind-stimulating. Our team, the Cool Kids almost won that night. Arghh.. We were just 3 point shy from the winning team. But overall, it was one fun night. Wingman usually does their quiz nights every Thursdays on their different stores. You can even catch Erik Waldie, the owner himself joining in as the quiz master. 🙂

We capped the night with desserts and a bottle of beer, of course. We were asked to choose from the Black Pepper Brownie and the Deep Fried Snickers. Both desserts were interesting but we opted for the Black Pepper Brownie just because we were curious about it. It was indeed interesting because you can almost taste the crushed black peppers along with the brownie. I’m not sure if I’m diggin’ it or not because the flavor was really weird for me.

Overall, Wingman is a very fun place to hang out, specially those sports enthusiasts. Imagine the store filled with those testosterone energy filling up the room with a crucial matches like the Golden State Warrior games, FIFA play-offs, MMA matches and even Manny Pacquiao’s matches. Beers, delicious wings and a room bursting with energy seems to be a fun way to bond with your mates and spend your weekends.

Where does your squad hang?
