Review: Stacy’s The Fort

Stacy’s is neatly tucked in one of the buildings near the Mind Museum. The store has that fun and bright vibe, splashed with colors, which would be mistaken as a children’s store. Angelique is a props stylist while Abby is a food stylist which they both incorporated into the theme of the store, no wonder the store is aesthetically pretty.

Stacy’s is an all-day breakfast place which serves comfort food. Here are some of the things we tried:

Chicken Parmesan with Garlic Spaghetti (P260)

You’ll never go wrong with Chicken Parmesan. You can order it with pasta or even rice as a side. For me this is the ultimate comfort food.

Martha’s Pot Roast (P285)

The Pot Roast was also good. But in comparison to all the yummy stuff we tried, this came at the bottom of the list.

Texas BBQ Ribs (P255)

The ribs were good as well. The sauce complements the tender beef. The meat was soft and tender, at the same time savory.

Monkey Toasts (P165)

I’m not a peanut butter fan, but this one has the right amount of flavors Peanut butter, Nutella along with Banana-Cinnamon toasts. This was sweet and perfect that it can be a breakfast choice and as a dessert as well.

Choco Lava (P145)

The Choco Lava is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It’s always nice to eat Lava cake while the fudge inside is still warm.

Apple Pie with Ice Cream (P145)

The apple pie is filled with big chunks of apples with cinnamon and caramel sauce. Served with vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzle on the side which balances the tart flavor of the pie.

Pink Strawberry Milkshake (P98) and Colorful Tea/Lemonades

Stacy’s offers a wide range of drinks from coffee to teas, as well as milkshakes and lemonades. Their drinks are also very colorful and lively. The pictures above are just sample servings.

I love all-day breakfast places. I always have that fond craving of pancakes, toast and bacon midday, which often makes me sad that restaurants only offer it in the morning. Stacy’s have been a good pick for its nice interiors with fairly priced food. You can compare their food, quite similar to what Banapple offers, savoringly yummy and affordable.

Stacy’s also offers party packages for every occasion. Check their Facebook page for some example of the parties and events they had covered.
