Here’s an Easy Korean Beef bowl recipe I’ve bookmarked and decided to recreated. This recipe is adapted from Damn Delicious. This recipe is also affordable for it uses ground beef instead of beef strips, which is more cheap in my opinion.
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes, or depending of your preference
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground beef
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Cooked rice, for serving
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; drain excess fat.
- Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onions until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Viola, you have an easy meal, perfect for busy (and lazy) people. As I am stressing out, this is a very easy recipe, even beginner home cooks (like me) can whip it up in no time.
